Even the Low end ones (500Mhz) without fan would make good terminal server clients, the new ones even have 5.1 surround sound 900Mhz processor, All I think have svideo and video out (config by jumpers I believe). Well done VIA!

you can not run them in absolute quiet, they will not fit in the very
small casetronic box, but they are just fine otherwise. what i did with
mine was to dump lindows, recycle the disk drives and use the boxes as
bootable terminals. i am rethinking the use of ltsp in the small branch
offices, and actually running a full blown linux on the desktop might be a
pretty good solution that avoids the cost of a server. the wal-mart boxes
would be good for it, after memory upgrade - 64MB is not adequate to run
