Well if you were running LTSP with Seti then yes you wouls expect that to happen. Seti is constantly making visual updates and therefore would cause X traffic from each node all the time. Seti is for distributed computing, not for thin client, display pushing computing. Finally, LTSP and even something like Citrix Metaframe it is highly suggested to turn off things such as screen savers.
