Any tips on sharing comports?
I have an application where I need to make a remote commport available
on a local pc?
Depending on what you want it to do,
(1) mserver is designed to share modems onto the network from a single
machine that has a bank of modems and phone lines available.
(2) some distributions offer clever things with "cu" for this.
(3) a script in inittab does all the stty you need then runs netcat.
