quick answer: yes ;-)

well, perhaps just a little bit longer: I installed ltsp for
united-linux a few weeks before :-)
I've done a quick (and dirty) solution:
I took the tgz-archives from Stephan Lauffer and changed in the
script ../ltsp_core/install.sh the following things:

...
/etc/SuSE-release -> changing "SuSE-release" with the name of
united-linux in /etc; perhaps united-release (sorry in the moment I
haven't got a working united-linux at home, and I don't remember me
at the correct name.)

...
Distro_Version="8.1" (you can delete all with grep and sed and tip
in only "8.1")

After these changes the install.sh-script will work with the
suse-8.1.sh-script and this is working without problems for the
united-linux.

Kind regards
Dieter
