I would assume it works like in the docs, making the printer listen on port 9100 of the client, so that the server can connect there. CUPS can, for example. Then make CUPS on the server use that port for a printer e.g. named "termprinter1" and use the lpr or lp print command with the appropriate parameters (here the man pages will prove helpful).
