[Ltsp-discuss] DCOPServer

Hi,
Hope I can get some help on this one. I'm setting up an information computer lab in a school with LTSP & my config is as such;
Server :P IV 2.0 Ghz, 1Gb. Red Hat 8 with KDE desktop & LTSP V3.0
Workstaions - Dell P-I with 3-com NIC * ATI Rage Video

Problem: The server & wkstn all start well but on the server I can no longer launch any terminal or graphics sessions after the stations have logged on.
message DCOPServer is not running or DCOPSever error .
The logs do not have any useful information, strace DCOPServer shows that it is running.

The archives show that this is a common problem but other than removing DCOPServer do not shed much more information or offer any good solutions.
Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated
