FYI, I have the same symptom with all of the eepro100 NIC's that I have tried
on my RH7.3 system. I do not use PXE.
However, I did find that by repeatedly re-starting the terminal, the eepro
would occasionally get past the 'Searching for server' point and the terminal
would then work just fine ... until the next reboot of the terminal. I could
not identify any reason for this random behaviour. I pulled them out and
installed 3C905's in their place. Pity.
