Hooray and Boo. If you want to use Rays w/LTSP, you need high-priced Sun hardware and software too, unless you want to do some soldering, which might make it possible.
I heard from John and did more research. It appears they will not boot from anything other than an Ultra w/SRSS and have only 8MB RAM anyway.
See the usenet links, especially the NetBSD thread.
Cheers,
Tad

Hi Michel,
I am waiting to hear from John Simovic about the config. I know they were using some kind of proprietary protocol, and that it was inefficient. I am hopeful it is not too much trouble to get them working.
I can't wait to hear.
Cheers,
Tad

Hi Tad,
Yes they are Sun Ray 1's (see my post) about the present configuration I can't say much. They connect to a Sun server and they only use it to start a citrix client to an NT server. So they want to get rid of them and go the NT machine directly with PC workstations.
That's all I know. Is there something I should investigate?
Regards,
Michel

Please post the configuration for the Sun Rays. Are they Sun Ray 1's?
Thank you!
Could you post the path to implement them to the list or to my mail address?
