Hi Lonnie!

I have been playing around with LTSP at home and just booting from a floppy. 
To answer your question, yes, you could have a the client boot from hard 
disk. I haven't tried the local swap, but I see no reason why it wouldn't 
work as well.

You can always check the archives to see if someone else has done it.
