Please search the list AFAIK the problem here is you do not have enough ram on the clients. Suggested solutions 1) increase the ram on the work station 2) do not use gnome or kde on the workstations. use a light weight window manager like icewm, xfce, etc... 3) use nfs swap or if you have hard drive available use swap
