first of all, thankyou very much. I know the sound card module is loaded because I see it in the startup message and I tried with esd (esdplay file.wav and esdsample) and it works but this is the only way I can get a sound. I'm going to try to donwload and re-install ltsp_sound to get the rigt libs in /opt/ltsp/i386... and I'm going to concentrate my effors in esd. I think I should start by saying that I want to run sound in the terminals, I don't have sound card in the server (debian). I'll keep in touch. thanks again, sergio
