The 27c128-120 chip should work just fine for an rtl8139
card.  I've done lots of those cards with that exact chip.

Some of the rtl8139 cards have a 28-pin socket, and some
have a 32-pin socket.  The same chip should work in both
cases.

Take a look at:

for more info, and a small diagram showing how to insert
the 28-pin chip into a 32-pin socket.
