Hallo, Sometime (without doing any changes by me) the clients hanging a long time (severals minutes) while booting at: "mounting root filesystem". After this they are booting to the end but only the grey X appears.
In the /var/log/messages the followings lines apperas very very often: ... Jul 6 00:39:05 pc01-info mountd[1580]: NFS mount of /opt/ltsp/i386 attempted from 192.168.0.28 Jul 6 00:39:05 pc01-info mountd[1580]: /opt/ltsp/i386 has been mounted by 192.168.0.28 Jul 6 00:39:05 pc01-info mountd[1580]: NFS mount of /opt/ltsp/i386 attempted usw.usw. I have got the problem with kernelbased NFS-Server and till yesterday also with the userspace-NFS-Server :-( Well, now they clients are working without any problems. I've deleted one nameserver-entrance, but I don't know if the was really the solution. Till now I haven't edit the /etc/exports - perhaps that's the problem (I'll try this the next time, if I've got the problem. I've read serveral times of this problem, but never read any solution or the right cause of this problem. Does anybody know a solution or the cause of this problem?
