Jari,

The resolver libraries are included in the ltsp_local_apps package.
THey typically aren't needed, unless you are running local
applications.

As for the blank hostname.  That's likely because you are
missing a line in your dhcpd.conf file.

Make sure you have this:

    use-host-decl-names    on;


If you don't have that, then dhcpd won't send the hostname
back to the workstation.

Another problem could be caused if you are dynamically
assigning an address from a pool of addresses.  I haven't
figured out how to get dhcpd to pass back a hostname for
those yet.
