Hi, I would like to know if in the dhcpd.conf file I need to put the MAC address of the client to make LTSP work correctly. I've read the McQuillan document, but I have not found a specific request of putting the MAC address of the client that will use the LTSP service.
No, you don't have to identify a client using its MAC address. But if you want to set up something for that particular client in lts.conf, then you need a way to identify the client. The most common way is to then lock it to a hostname and IP using the MAC address in dhcpd.conf.
