Additional details which were required,
I am using
1) etherboot version 5.2.0 (I am downloading the floppy image from
ro-o-matic.org
2) I am using following ltsp files
a.ltsp_core-3.0.9-0
b.ltsp_kernel-3.0.10-0
c.ltsp_x_core-3.0.4-0
d.ltsp_x_fonts-3.0.0-0
3.ltsp kernel version (2.4.21)
4. yes etherboot is downloading the kernel properly and atart running
/linuxrc script and mounts /proc and goes further and download the NIC
module from the server and also shows up the mac address again properly
and then stops at "running dhclient"
5. I don't think so that I am running more than one dhcp server.
I had vmware workstation installed but its services are stopped
Even I have disabled PXE service that was interpreting with dhcpd.
Thank you Jim and Timothy for your replies I will let u know any more
details if desired.
I know I am stuck at some small point in here, I have already
implemented in my college and each day I am getting more machines on
that network with no problems.
Even I have downloaded ltsp_kernel-3.0.9-0 and installed it but no way
to go still. I think the problem is with dhcp server most probably.
Take care and Bye
