/opt/ltsp../fonts/truetype is wrong path because all services
and applications (except X for the client) are running on in LTSP server.
If you are using Debian GNU/Linux
1. Install msttcorefonts (apt-get install msttcoreffonts
This will downloads and install ttf fonts from the net
or copy some ttf fonts to /usr/share/fonts/truetype/)
2. install xfstt (apt-get install xfstt)
3. run /etc/init.d/xfstt restart
4. Modify /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 and add the line
FontPath "unix/:7101"
5. Restart X
