Peter- We will contribute a dual Xeon 2.4GHz server with SCSI HDDs for use in the press room. We can also pitch in some of our thin clients (see selection at www.TheSymbiont.com).
We can configure the server beforehand and have everything tested and ready to go... (including the plugins so they can watch clips off of Fox news and other such sites! ;) ) We're in New York, so we can just bring the equipment with us. We definitely want to contribute to getting LTSP in front of the press, and being local should help in getting stuff there. Let me know! -Gideon On Wed, 2003-10-22 at 12:35, Peter Billson wrote: > Hello list (and in particular Jim!), > If you remember back to December 2002 you will remember some > discussions about setting up some LTSP machines in the Press Room at > LinuxWorld.
