I had that exact issue last night. It was a configuration problem (obviously). Start with you nics, make sure they are active and the expected ip address is with the correct mac address and eth device (ifconfig). Check your dhcpd.conf file and make sure it references the correct ip address. I think my issue was the nic and the device was screwed up.
