If you have already booted into win (even though) in command mode the
memory allocation is already taking place by Win and probably the memory
left for other programs is low!!
If you want to try to boot from Win try booting into "safe" command
prompt and then run the program associated with your NIC card. You can
bring up the menu for choosing command prompt by pressing "F8" during
win boot.....or is it "F5"....whatever....TH
