I just solved my problem
Just a short briefing about the problem: My LTSP-server is authorising against a WNNT4 PDC accomplished with winbind, when the users log in at the LTSP-clients they get their personal folder from the nt4 mounted in their home directory to a folder called Docs (with pam_mount). After a short while when the user has log in at the client the ltsp-client freeze, and we have to power it off and reboot it. When 2-3 client has done that the entire system (read: server) also starts to go unstable.
We only experience this when we have mounted the shares from the nt4, if we "turn off" pam_mount, the system don't have any instabilities at all!
The solution:
Our client was running whit the resolution "1024x768", if we decreased the resolution to "800x600" or below, the problem disappears!?!
We have tested it with 4 different pc (different hardware), and the result was the same!
Can anyone tell me why I can't run the client with the "high" resolution? - Jim?
