Do some googling in the news groups for locking mozilla using PrefLock.
Someone wrote
a how to that works very well for this. I used it at a school installation
to
lock the proxy settings in for dans guardian.

Subject: [Ltsp-discuss] Mozilla Firebird

Icewm is now up and running, I have a shared config and a simple script
to generate new users and pre-configured folders.

Now I'm trying to tweak the Firebird settings. By default, it has a 50
meg web cache which I'd like to trim to 0, and I also need to set the
proxy and home page (and font sizes, and... etc)

Unfortunately it creates a settings folder using a random string of
characters, so duplicating the 'ws000' setup user's folder doesn't work.
I've tried to decypher the user.js settings, but is there a way to
preset the Firebird options?

Cheers
Simon
