Hi every1.
I'm spending about 4 hours, but I can't force my terminals to play sound.
LTSP 3.xy+Debian unstable.
What i "have":
* good & working (also reverse) DNS
* trying on 2 terminals - 1 with esssolo1, second with onboard something
* good & 7 month working ltsp 3.xy.latest, no problems with it
* everything is "good configured" (maybe not, if its not working :)
* i use runlevel 3 no "bad messages", everythings going fine, "card is
found" "sound server is running" & so
* im testing eith Kaboodle (or what KDE app:) - ITS PLAYING! (WAV), but
no sound comes from
What i dont have:
* any sound from both terminals
* esctl i do NOT have (what i should install?)
* auinfo - detto - i mean bad command or file name :) (what DEBIAN
package i should install?) (apt-cache search - i didnt find anything
"right")
* "sound kernel" - i mean i have *no* support in LTSP_SERVER kernel -
need i one?
why? what i have to have in ltsp_server_kernel?
(using vanilla 2.4.24 or vanilla 2.4.22)
i tried MANY configurations, a few of these i post here:
