ne.o must be present in the "initial" root file system that is loaded along with the kernel (before mounting the /opt/ltsp/i386/ as root file
system and pivoting the root file system).

ehm... sorry but I don't understand... the ""initial" root file system" isn't the image loaded in memory as a ram disk? If so where is the directory where I need to put the modules? /dev/ram0?
