Hmm, are you sure the tftp server package is installed ?

I looked at the ltspcfg script, around line 819, and I see
it is assuming you are using xinetd to run tftpd.

Look for a file called "/etc/xinetd.d/tftp".  If you find that
file, could you send me a copy of it ?

I've not heard any reports of people frying their configuration by
using ltspcfg.  It really shouldn't be doing anything to the
samba startup scripts.
