OK, I've decided to go RTFM on NFS and a few other goodies.

I'm at the point where I'm staring at XFree86 with no window manager or login (kdm). Just a big fat X

Before I start belly-aching about this, since it seems it should work, I have an observation:
Feb 12 06:48:32 linux kernel: NET: 3 messages suppressed.
Feb 12 06:48:32 linux kernel: ip_conntrack: table full, dropping packet.
Feb 12 06:48:39 linux kernel: ip_conntrack: table full, dropping packet.
Feb 12 06:48:41 linux kernel: NET: 1 messages suppressed.
Feb 12 06:48:41 linux kernel: ip_conntrack: table full, dropping packet.
Feb 12 06:48:50 linux kernel: NET: 2 messages suppressed.

I think this is creating another problem for me.
