Is your LTSP server on the same network segment as your client? I have been unable to use PXE on separate network segments without having a separate tftp server on the segment that the client is on. For instance, my server resides on the 10.5.107.0 network. My clients were on 10.5.112.0 network. They could not connect via PXE. But when I put those clients on the 10.5.107.0 network, they connected. So I set up a tftp server on my desktop PC which is on the 10.5.112.0 network and changed the dhcp settings for those clients to point to the new tftp server and everything works now. -- Jeff Self Dept. of Information Technology City of Newport News (757)926-3741 ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net is sponsored by: Speed Start Your Linux Apps Now.
