I'm not in front of my machine, so I'm taking this from memory...
Using YaST2, you have to go to the KDM configuration and select options
for others to login, remote access.  This is at the sysconfig editor level
and not some other tool-set under YaST.

If this is of no particular help, I can send you the specific parameters
in about 90 minutes.

But I was able to repeatedly create and eliminate this problem from my own
set-up.

However, NFS is another problem for me.  How is yours?
Mine won't start at a reboot.
