Hi,

is it possible to shutdown the clients (if they are ATX computers) by invoking some script or so?

There are two cases I could need that:

Automatic shutdown if client hasn't been in use for a certain time (when nobody is logged in, i. e. xdm or so) and remote shutdown by root when everyone is away and some clients are still running.

We have a school here. Currently I am building an LTSP environment for the students. It would be quite nice if I would no longer have to go to the computer room and press all the buttons of forgotten PCs... :-)

Rolf
