I also have firewall (loaded at boot time). Of course I had one even when it was working.
Any idea what could have triggered sudden nfs fail?
ltspcfg say at the beginning that NFS if off!, but later writes "on on on", when checking services


PROCESSES:

nfsd, rpc.statd, rpc.mountd, xinetd
BUT NO nfslock!

HOSTS.allow FILE, autocreated:

bootpd: 0.0.0.0
in.tftpd: 192.168.3. portmap: 192.168.3.

Do you have iptables blocking NFS access ?

Try this:

iptables -L

see if you have anything more than the 3 'ACCEPT' lines.
