But....
Ghost has several switches that will include copying the MBR. It does not by default, I believe default settings will just copy partitions.
If this is a raid setup, Ghost may not(probally not)work. Alternate open source disaster recover tool "Mondo Rescue".
So.....
A. when cloning, set switches to do a sector by sector copy including MBR. In other words, everything including empty space.
b. floppy boot and re-install grub
