Hi all, I've just set up a new set of LTSP servers, and while monitoring loads on them (before releasing them into the wild), I noticed that one of the things that takes up the most processing power is workstations running screensavers.
As I see it I have two options: - delete all the screensavers on the system other than "blank screen" - Somehow get XScreensaver running as a local app on the clients. If the last option isn't too much work, it would be nice to have implemented - if not for my own sense of geek satisfaction, then for overall staff morale (people like their screensavers you know!) Has anyone tried this? Is it feasible?
