I too have clients that run for weeks. I never run 'those cron tasks'
and have no problems what so ever
LTSP-4, GDM, icewm
14:48:07 up 22 days, 22:28, 10 users, load average: 0.01, 0.04, 0.00
And that was a powerfail!
