Hello, all! I know this has been discussed around here before, but I'll giv it another shot. Maybe there's been some development, or somebody else's got some new ideas.
I have the following setup: -Athlon XP 2.0 GH, 518 MB RAM Running Fedora Core 1 with LTSP 4. -Some clients booting off the server. -Some clientes booting from themselves and telneting into the sever. - All of the clients run a Flagship applicaiton directly on the server. - Many of the clients have a paralel, text-only printer attached directly to them. - Each client only has to print on their own printer. The thin clients are booting correctly, but I can't print. I've entered the apropriate parameters on ltsp.conf and added the printers as JetDirect in CUPS. After trying to print in one of them, an LPQ command returns the printer as being ready to print, but I get nothing. If I telnet the client's IP on port 9100, I am able to connect but still can't print. However, the printer seems to accept commands as CTRL+O and CTRL+L. Any ideas on this. Furthermore, can the printers on the disk clients be configured as JetDirect also, to maintain consistency?
