That's exactly what I have done. I am able to connect. As far as I know, if I typed something then, it should come out on the printer, right? It doesn't, but some CTRL commands do work, like CTRL+L or CTRL+O. The printer gives signs of life. All this on port 9100.
One thing just to ease my mind: all printers on different stations will be on port 9100, right? Because they're on different machines. > Are you sure the port is 9100?
