Yes, use a different nic in the work station. Davicom contributed the driver to etherboot some years ago and it is currently broken. I looked at it a while back but I have not fixed it yet. The correct place to submit Etherboot related issues is the etherboot-users list (see www.etherboot.org). I have the issue fix on my list of things to fix, but at the moment it isn't a high priority for me.
