Hi Francesco: This sounds like the tftp is looking in the wrong directory. Following steps to find out how your tftfp works: Look if you have /tftproot or /tftp. (not /tftpboot) If one of those exists create a file like test.txt in there. else create that file in /. Than do on a different machine a tftp to the server and issue the command "get test.txt" you see the result. you leave tftp with quit and must see the transfered file in the actual directory. Like this you can find out which your tftpd on the server really uses and what the correct path is that has to be in dhcpd.conf. I can assist you in that just via email from now on - as I have to work at a customers place until friday.
