Hi, - go to www.rom-o-matic.org and check out the Latest Production Release 5.2.5, click on the link and read about howto make a boot-floppy. This boot-floppy will take the place of the (hardware) boot-ROM of the ethernet NIC. Follow the ltsp how-to to the point - and you should be running. - one trick: on the server, as root, in a shell do #tail -f /var/log/messages as the clients are booting. This should give you an idea of what's going on. - that should get you started in a flash! -- ------------------- Verner KjÃrsgaard Open Source Academy SvalhÃjvej 13 DK-3790 Hasle +45 56964223 ------------------- ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
