Yup
i made the entries in the hosts file like
172.16.20.11 ws001.agnelganv.edu ws001

and the necessary modification in the lts.conf file and dhcpd file. but i still
want to figure out whether my  dns was the culprit or some other change is
needed. iptables is not in the way either since its  a problem with only a few
hosts.
