We have several workstations with DVI out consisting of:
Case: Morex Cupid 2677 V2.0
with Morex JM132 Riser Card for Cupid 2677 V2.0
MB: VIA EPIA-VE 5000A Mini-ITX Mainboard,
incl. VIA EDEN ESP 5000 CPU at 533 MHz (no active cooler)
RAM: 256MB SD-RAM, PC133
Graphics card: Hercules 3D Prophet 9000, PCI, DVI, retail
Display: Fujitsu-Siemens LCD-Display 5110FA, 20.1in, 1600x1200, DVI
That's a nice (quiet!) little thin client with an even nicer (big!)
display.
For the mainboard and case see http://www.mini-itx.de/ (they also
offer a Commell ITX Mainboard with a Mini-AGP slot and a Mini-AGP
graphics card with DVI out).
We purchased the last on a year ago for about 330,- Euro the thin
client and 1010,- Euro the Display
We assembled the first one in 2002 and the main problem was to find a
PCI graphics card (the MB has no AGP Slot) with a passive cooler and a
DVI out capable of 1600x1200.
The Matrox Millennium G450 didn't work for us (if I remember correct,
only the VGA out supports resolutions higher than 1280x1024), so we
were happy to discover the Hercules card finally. But this card isn't
available any more. So if you need 1600x1200 too, you could try the
Sapphire Radeon 7000 (Bulk, TV-Out, DVI)
or
Club3D Radeon 9250 (Retail, TV-Out, DVI)
(That's just the result of a quick search in the web. I have no
experience with these cards.)
