Hi,
I am wondering if anyone might be able to point me in the right direction.
I have installed LTSP 4.1 on a Mandrake 10.1 system, and is happily serving
users and terminals.
Recently I was asked to get someone's Microphone working, but I can't seem
to figure it out. Sound works fine in general, and if i plug in a mic, I
can hear myself in the computer speakers, but I cannot get any sound
transmitted into any application that requires a mic (ie audacity, skype).
I am using ESD, and I have tried the following two configurations (with
various volume levels)
[ws102]
SOUND = Y
SOUND_DAEMON = esd
VOLUME = 75
CD_VOLUME = 75
MIC_VOLUME = 100
SMODULE_01 = es1371
-or-
[ws102]
SOUND = Y
SOUND_DAEMON = esd
VOLUME = 75
CD_VOLUME = 75
MIC_VOLUME = 100
SMODULE_01 = auto
I have looked to see if the Mic is muted anywhere, but I cannot see it
being muted by any application.
As I am using KDE, I have enabled sound, and have enabled full-duplex
sound, but still no mic.
Anyone have any suggestions? I have searched the archives of this list,
but came out empty handed. Please let me know if you have any pointers.
