Hello,
i had some problems with gnome, on every login i got an error message
whicht told me that it could not activate the xkb configuration.
The problem were AFAIK missing config options.
So i added the following lines in the /etc/build_x4_config in the
Keyboard section:
Option "XkbModel" "${XKBMODEL:-"default"}"
Option "XkbVariant" "${XKBVARIANT:-"default"}"
Option "XkbRules" "${XKBRULES:-"default"}"
With this change i could add XkbVariant ant XkbRules and it works now.
I'dont realy know if the default value "default" is valid for every
option, but this migth be a hint if somebody has problems with Layouts
like "de_CH" and gnome.
