Hi, I have an LTSP 4.1.1 server up and working. I have setup LDA, but have a somewhat peculiar problem. When I first boot up a client, login and look in the /home/username/drives folder, I can see the localdrives I have configured, but they appear as 0-byte files rather than folders, which I guess can be explained by there not being any discs in the drives. However, when I put in a disc in the floppy-drive it remains a 0-byte file until I switch to the shell I have running on console-2 and do an "ls /tmp/drives/floppy". After that I can access the floppy drive just fine over the samba share.
Anybody know how to fix this such that it isn't necessary to do a local listing of the disc content in order to be able to access it from the server? -- Anders -----BEGIN GEEK CODE BLOCK----- Version: 3.12 GCS/O d--@ s:+ a-- C++ UL+++$ P++ L+++ E- W+ N(+) o K? w O-- M- V PS+ PE@ Y+ PGP+ t 5 X R+ tv+ b++ DI+++ D+ G e- h !r y? ------END GEEK CODE BLOCK------ PGPKey: http://random.sks.keyserver.penguin.de:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0xD4DEFED0 ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Tell us your software development plans!
