More or less confirms my suspicion that you need to build a specific
xorg.conf file for your workstation. As per my understanding the X conf
file is built during the terminal boot and that is why you may not be
getting DRI settings. If you have a pre-built X file for a terminal you
can pass on what ever settings that you need.
