You can specify monitor settings per workstation (or group of
workstations) in the lts.conf file, for example:

[myws]
X_HORZSYNC      = "28-96"
X_VERTREFRESH   = "50-75"
X_MODE_0        = "1152x864 83.54 1152 1184 1496 1528 864 881 890 908"
X_MODE_1        = "1024x768 64.56 1024 1056 1296 1328 768 783 791 807"
