Chris,
As you have noticed, LTSP really works best on the lan. You may get it
to work, but you should consider how NX can fit in. Perhaps you could
use a local LTSP server and make individual NX connections back to
your central site. If you haven't used it before, I think you will be
impressed with the performance.
