Do you know which APs it is possible to install Linux on. I am sure
I could
persuade my employer to add to my collection of APs for the sake of

I use a Linksys WRT54G as router and AP running HyperWRT there are other
possibilities such as openWRT. I've heard of someone running apache on a
WRT54.
I read a thread on dslreports earlier today that said it is possible
to flash
my Belkin pre-n wireless broadband router with the firmware for the
WRT54G (which surprised me not a little) so I may not even have to buy
(yet another) AP. I cannot check the details at the moment as dslreports
is temporarily down.
I shall google for HyperWRT and OpenWRT and see what I come
up with - thanks.

Disappointingly it turns out that the firmware that works on the Belkin
Pre-n
is for the WRT54GX not the WRT54G/GS which are the APs supported by
OpenWRT - curses, foiled again.
