Hi,
Here's my problem: Unicoled-mounted USB-stick on LTSP-terminal is
readable with Nautilus, but writable only with cp.
Gnome & Nautilus file manager:
- I can open Desktop/Devices/usb and I see the files that I have on USB
stick.
- On the bottom of Nautilus-window it says "Space left 0"
- Trying to copy a file to USB generates an error "No space left on
device".
Opening a terminal and using cp (=copy) command does the job:
- cp file.txt Desktop/Devices/usb copies file.txt from filesystem to
USB.
- This newly copied file appears also in Nautilus.
Setup: K12LTSP (=Fedora Core 4), LTSP-4.1, USB-sticks mounted with
Unicoled method
Integrated to Gnome by
adding LDA-setup.sh to /etc/X11/gdm/PostLogin/Default
adding LDA-shutdown.sh to /etc/X11/gdm/PostSession/Default
Strange thing is that I used to have FC4 server with a working
configuration. After changing the server I have spent hours comparing
settings on these two machines, but so far I haven't been able to find
any difference other than that in the "old" setup USB was writable also
with Nautilus..
Any ideas what might be the reason for this?
Jonas
