Specifics:

hplip 0.9.6-1 (debian)

I copied:

/usr/lib/sane/libsane-hpaio.so.1.0.0
/usr/lib/sane/libsane-hpaio.so.1
/etc/sane.d/dll.d
/etc/sane.d/dll.d/hplip

Also, I did:

echo hpaio >> /etc/sane.d/dll.conf

Obviously, I am copying from the server to /opt/ltsp-4.2/i386/

I tried "scanimage -L"

It doesn't detect anything yet /proc/bus/usb/devices shows the printer
and I can print to it.
