Rolf,

Looking at your output from ./configure, it appears that the libs are being installed in /usr/local/lib. SO, i'm guessing that you simply need to edit your /etc/ld.so.conf file, and add '/usr/local/lib'. Then, you need to run ldconfig to rebuild the library cache file.

Or, you could tell ./configure to install the libs in /usr/lib.

Jim,

There is an entry for /usr/local/lib in my etc/ld.so.conf, so I tried the latter, installing it into /usr/lib. Now we are a step further, i. e. there are no error messages from /usr/sbin/lbus_event_handler.sh add block /tmp 1024 Temp

and there is a Drivers/mp directory and some /tmp file, but the /tmp seems to be like a broken link, and my /dev/fuse is "666 root root".

When I click on the Temp folder in KDE - which now appears and disappears as desired - it just says "cannot find bla/bla/bla//tmp directory" (note the 2 slashes: is that a mistake?).

What would you do?

Regards

Rolf
